Two items: a vintage glossy 7.5 x 7 photo of Gordon as the manager of the Cleveland Indians, signed and inscribed in blue ballpoint, "Best wishes to The Brownes, Joe Gordon"; and a TLS signed "Joe," one page, Cleveland Indians letterhead, July 24, 1958, in part: "At the present time I haven't any photos available but they are on order…As soon as they arrive I will be most happy to autograph and send one to you." In very good condition, with trimmed edges to each item, creases and surface impressions to the photo, and edge tears and dampstaining to the bottom of the letter. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope for the letter.
