Two unsigned items: a 6 x 3.5 card with embossed Great Seal and preprinted signature of President John F. Kennedy, sent to a supporter following the Cuban missile crisis, in part: “I am most grateful for your expression of support and confidence. Your message gives heartening evidence of our national unity and strength of purpose during the current international crisis”; and a 5 x 4 ‘thank you’ card from the Kennedys following the birth of their son, in part: “Senator and Mrs. John Fitzgerald Kennedy gratefully acknowledge your kind wishes and thoughtless on the birth of their son John Fitzgerald Kennedy, Jr., November 25, 1960.” The latter card includes the original mailing envelope, addressed in a secretarial hand and postmarked February 2, 1961. In overall fine condition.
