Two items: a TLS, one page, 6.25 x 8.5, personal letterhead, postmarked February 15, 1948, in part: "So glad you liked 'Magic Town' and 'It's a Wonderful Life.' We are in the last weeks of 'The Rope' now, and on March 27th am opening in New York again in 'Harvey' for a month. Then I come back to Hollywood for a comedy with Joan Fontaine. After that I may take 'Harvey to England for the summer"; and a vintage glossy 2.5 x 4 portrait, signed in fountain pen, "Sincerely, James Stewart." In overall fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope.
