ALS, one page, 5.25 x 7, no date but postmarked at London, August 14, 1964. Fantastic letter to a fan, Susan Everall in Pinner, Middlesex, written on the back of her letter addressed to "the Beatles." Paul's message reads, in full: "Dear Susan, George is the youngest, me next, then John, then Ringo. Paul, Ta for your letter! xxx." In Susan's letter to the group, she requests their autographs and asks: "Please could you tell me if Paul is the youngest or if George is, for in 5 different books, 3 say Paul is and 2 say George." In fine condition, with light handling wear, and splitting along the left side of the central horizontal fold. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope. A wonderful, personal response from the second-youngest Beatle.
