Description

TLS signed “Errol,” one page, 8.5 x 11, Universal-International Pictures letterhead, March 15, 1956. Letter to his lawyer Justin M. Golenbock, in part: "In response to several letters you have written firstly the Richard Stafford affair. You know very well what happened with this Joker. Let him sue. I have the whole record and so have you. Stafford was put off by me and Wilcox and I don't feel inclined at all to give the man anything especially in view of the fact that he cost me about $16,000. Re the surplus 35mm prints of 'Cross Swords.' Legally, how do we stand? I don't see how I could use the prints to any advantage and I can't at the moment think of any black-market outlets. Do I have to pay for excess storage on prints? Do you think the Russians might be interested, if so I'll pick up the lost for cost value." In fine condition, with a tear to left edge and show-through in the lower left corner from a PSA/DNA sticker on the reverse. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA.
