Partly-printed DS as president, one page, 23 x 19, November 19, 1921. President Harding appoints J. Klahr Huddle of Ohio as "a Consul of Class five of the United States of America." Signed at the conclusion by Harding, and countersigned by Secretary of State Charles Evans Hughes. Lower left bears the beige wafer seal. In fine condition. Jerome Klahr Huddle later served as the US Ambassador to Burma from October 1947 to November 1949.
