ANS signed “G. B. S.,” one page, 3.5 x 4.5, personal letterhead, March 20, 1925. In full: "Yes, but dash it, you know you won't send me the cheque. I scrawl this in desperate haste—packing for a rush to Birmingham to rehearse Caesar." In fine condition, with light soiling, and tape stains to the edges. Originally written in 1898, Shaw's play Caesar and Cleopatra was staged at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre in April 1925.
