Group of five photos signed by Dallas Times Herald photographer Eamon Kennedy, who was assigned with following and photographing President John F. Kennedy during his fateful trip to Dealey Plaza on November 22, 1963. The photos, glossy and laserprint, measure between 10 x 8 and 11 x 8.5, and include the following images: an upward angle of Jack Ruby; JFK and the first lady meeting a crowd at Love Field; two images of a young girl, her hands in prayer, moments after the assassination; and a close-up of President Kennedy looking directly into the camera. Each photo is signed in black ink by Eamon Kennedy, with the crowd photo also signed by Peggy Sorrentino, who, as an infant, met the Kennedys at Love Field. Also includes a copy of The Knightly News that is signed by Sorrentino, and a personal business card belonging to Eamon Kennedy, who has signed it in black felt tip. In overall fine to very fine condition. Accompanied by two mailing envelopes. Eamon Kennedy explained how it had been remarkable how close journalists could get to the president: 'Right before he got in the limo, he was coming towards me and I told him to hold it, and I got a really nice close up. It was probably the last portrait, as he was shot 20 to 30 minutes later.'
