Progress report on the "Modified Apollo Logistics Vehicle Earth Landing System Parametric Study Phase I," prepared by P. A. Leonard of North American Aviation, discussing landing systems for a proposed six-man Apollo Command Module. The manual contains two fold-out blueprints of the six-man spacecraft, as well as other diagrams and a few pages with copious handwritten engineering notes. The principal purpose of the report was to evaluate and select an effective Earth Landing System for the MODAP, the Modified Apollo Logistics Spacecraft, a project that never came to fruition. In very good condition, with creasing and tears to the white covers, and uniform toning to most pages.
