Confederate electoral ticket from Virginia, one page, 4 x 6, for the election on November 6, 1861. The ticket lists "For President, Jefferson Davis, of Mississippi," and "For Vice-President, Alexander H. Stephens, of Georgia," as well as local representatives for various Virginian districts. In very good condition, with toning to the upper left corner, a small punch hole, and a short slice in a blank area. This represents the only presidential election held by the Confederate States of America. The Jefferson Davis-Alexander H. Stephens ticket ran unopposed, and was elected to serve a six-year term.
