Two items: an official color 8 x 10 NASA lithograph of Carpenter in a formal pose with a Mercury 7 pin on his lapel, signed and inscribed in black felt tip, "To Fred, Scott Carpenter"; and a softcover manual entitled Results of the Second United States Manned Orbital Space Flight, 107 pages, 7.75 x 10.25, May 24, 1962, signed and inscribed on the front cover in black felt tip, "To Fred, Scott Carpenter." In overall fine condition, with creasing to the lower right edge of the signed photo. Accompanied by a signed provenance letter from the original recipient, a former NASA project engineer.
