The manual was developed to "visually depict various aspects of the Apollo 11 (mission G) lunar landing mission. Out-the-window views are shown for most critical maneuvers executed by the CSM and by the LM. Detailed views of the earth and the moon are shown for the translunar and transearth coast phases of the flight. Views through the scanning telescope are presented for earth parking orbit, translunar coast, moon parking orbit, and transearth coast.
