Large original pencil concept sketch of the Water Nymphs from Fantasia on an off-white 18 x 12 sheet, signed in the lower right corner by Frank Follmer. The panoramic drawing shows the topless nymphs bathing in a cave. In fine condition, with light dampstaining to edges.
Follmer worked at Walt Disney Studios from the late 1930s through the early 1940s, assisting on projects like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, and Fantasia. He alienated Walt Disney when he organized a strike against the studio, and ultimately left to join the Navy.
