Italian operatic soprano (1830-1859) who had a major international career from 1846 until her premature death in 1859 at the age of 29. She sang at the most important opera houses in Boston, Havana, London, Madrid, Moscow, New York, Paris, Philadelphia, Saint Petersburg, and Verona, and was particularly admired for her performances in operas by Giuseppe Verdi. Rare third-person ALS in French, signed within the text, “Madame Bosio,” one page, 5.25 x 8.25, December 20, 1853. An untranslated letter regarding a "Monsieur Perrin." In fine condition.
