Austrian zoologist, ornithologist, and recipient of the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine who pioneered the modern study of animal behavior (1903-1989). TLS in German, one page, 8.25 x 11.75, Max Planck Institute letterhead, February 5, 1965. Letter to the physician Joachim Ruf, sending his autograph. At the conclusion, Lorenz sketches a detailed drawing of a hand holding a fish. In fine condition.
