Partly-printed DS, signed “Victoria R.,” one page, 13.75 x 9.25, August 1, 1854. Queen Victoria appoints Duncan Alexander Campbell Fraser M. D. as "Assistant-Surgeon in Our Seventy-Sixth Regiment of Foot." Signed in the upper left by the queen, and countersigned in the lower right by Prime Minister Lord Palmerston. Blue and white paper seals remain affixed to left side. In very good to fine condition, with a few light stains, and short splits along folds.
