Huge North American Aviation (NAA)–produced large-format paper diagram of the Apollo 8 Command Module 103 displays and controls panels, measuring 18.5´ x 3´. These large format diagrams were intended for wall-mounting for use by astronauts in mission-specific training. This copy came from the estate of the NAA branch chief for Apollo Displays and Controls and is marked as "For Training Purposes Only." Rolled and in very good to fine condition, with toning, some edge tears, and a few small repairs. This NAA-produced Command Module 103 Controls & Displays Schematic was folded and kept in long-term storage for years after the Apollo 8 mission. At some point it became part of the personal files of a former NAA branch chief. Since being purchased from his estate the schematic has been stored in large flat files wrapped in acid-free paper. A beautiful and impressive display piece.
