Receiving a "translation of the Declaration of Independence into French"

TLS signed “W. J. Bryan,” one page, 8.5 x 5.5, personal letterhead, March 6, 1920. Letter to A. Bollaert of New York, in part: "I am greatly obliged to you for the French verses just received, the translation of the Declaration of Independence into French. I can not read the language myself, but as my wife and daughter can, I shall have them read it to me." In very good condition, with intersecting folds, light overall toning, and tape stains to the edges.
