In full (translated): "I received your kind letter and I send you a few pictures right away, the ones I have on hand—My exhibit in London will be around the 25 of June at Valerie Reid Lefevre (200 King Street St James’s) I think this exhibit will be the most important and more complete than all of the ones that I have done so far because there will be 20 paintings ‘absolutely unknown’ a lot more finished and strange than the one of my last exhibit in New-York—One of the most important painting is titled ‘La femme aux tiroirs’ [Woman with Drawers] it represents a woman from whom 6 drawers come out perfectly useful—Let me know right away when you arrive in Paris I would be very happy to show you all my latest paintings."
