Description

Interesting vintage matte-finish 10 x 8 photo of Eisenhower and Hoover riding in a convertible with Governor William S. Beardsley at the 1954 Iowa State Fair, signed and inscribed in fountain pen by all three, "For the Ken Brownes, Wm. S. Beardsley," "and Herbert Hoover," and "Dwight D. Eisenhower.” In fine condition, with light corner creasing and a bit of irregular ink adhesion to Eisenhower's signature. Accompanied by a TLS by Hoover to Ken Browne, dated April 25, 1960, in part: "I do appreciate your sending me that Indian version of the 23rd Psalm."
