Description

ALS, one page, 5.25 x 8, October 22, 1883. Letter to a writer regarding an appointment, in part (translated): "Since I want to save you the trip to Medan, which is very painful in the rainy season, it would be best for you to meet next Saturday, 27, at my home in Paris, where I am going. Come at ten in the morning." In fine condition. Accompanied by an 1899 ALS by his wife, Alexandrine Zola, mentioning the Dreyfus Affair.
