Official letter to CBS Records, in full: "This will serve to authorize you to deliver to my attorney, Frank F. Harding, the balance of the advance due under my contract with you. There is presently due the sum of $5,000.00 with respect to the recording that was made in December at the Village Vanguard." Signed at the conclusion in felt tip by Gordon. In fine condition.
