Description

American guitarist and composer (1943-1981) and a member of the original Butterfield Blues Band; a frequent collaborator with Bob Dylan, Bloomfield died of a heroin overdose at the age of 37. Scarce DS, one page, 8.5 x 11, August 7, 1973. American Federation of Musicians contract in which Michael Bloomfield and Mark Naftalin agree to play three nights at The Cave in Vancouver, British Columbia, on August 16-18, 1973, for a nightly wage of $1,500. Signed in black ballpoint by Bloomfield. Attached are pension and leader copies. In fine condition.
