A Frazier Patent, .45-70 cartridge box with die-struck “NYNG” (New York National Guard) oval plate on the cover flap and McKenney & Co., New York maker marking on the inside front. The leather itself has crazed along the exterior with light flaking along the top radius of the cover. The two-tiered wooden block has spaces for 18 cartridges and there are a few tiny holes through the leather on the right side. This is a nice example of a state-marked cartridge box, and is in very good plus condition overall.
