Tiny metal wax seal featuring the profile portrait of Josiah Bartlett, acquired from the 1989 auction of contents from the Josiah Bartlett Homestead and Museum. The seal measures approximately 3/4″ tall with a 3/8″ face. In fine condition. Accompanied by an original tag from the auction and color copies of the catalog cover and related materials. Bartlett was the first to vote for independence, and became the second to sign the Declaration of Independence after John Hancock.
