Description

Female pilot (1906-1980) who was the first of her gender to break the sound barrier and is said to have more aviation records and awards than any pilot in the United States. Matte-finish 8 x 10 photo of Cochran posing alongside an airplane, signed and inscribed in blue ballpoint, "For Frank Milton Clements, With best wishes, Jacqueline Cochran.” In fine condition.
