Description

Two items: a commemorative cover with a color cachet honoring the successful recovery of the Apollo 13 Odyssey, postmarked with splashdown date of April 17, 1970, signed prominently in black felt tip, "James Lovell"; and a color glossy 8 x 10 photo of Lovell posing in his white space suit with a lunar globe against a celestial backdrop, signed in blue felt tip, "Houston we have a problem, James Lovell, Apollo 13." Also includes an unsigned original color NASA lithograph of the original crew—Lovell, Mattingly, and Haise. In overall very fine condition. Accompanied by a card depicting the "Revised Return Flight Plan," depicting the path of the Command Module's return to Earth.
