Three items signed by Wolfe, including two books and a letter: a first edition, first printing of The Bonfire of the Vanities, hardcover with dust jacket, published by Farrar, Straus & Giroux in 1987, signed on the half-title page in black felt tip; a first trade edition of A Man in Full, hardcover with dust jacket, published by Farrar, Straus & Giroux in 1998, signed on the title page in black felt tip; and a TLS, one page, personal monogrammed letterhead, no date but postmarked March 26, 2006, in part: "All my life I have associated St. Patrick's Day with my birthday. My birthday is March 2, and my mother always decorated my cake with three-inch-high Irish flags, which by March 2 would already be in the 5 & 10-cent stores. I remember them as silk, even though they probably weren't. I remember that particular pale green as…ethereal…I can see it now." In overall fine condition, with light wear to the books' dust jackets. Accompanied by two photos of Wolfe taken at the 2005 National Book Festival in Washington, DC, where these two books were signed.
