Handwritten lyrics by CJ Ramone for a pair of songs, penned in blue ballpoint on the backside of a Ramones itinerary packet, six pages, 8.5 x 11, containing details for their 11-concert tour of Greece, Spain, and Italy between May 5-18, 1993. Both songs are untitled, with Ramone writing one song on the reverse of the final page, and then another song on the preceding two pages. The first song, which became the Los Gusanos song ‘Carve Your Name,’ in full (grammar and spelling retained): "Keep them distant with a smile and a kind word / never piss on a fire / cold and brutal leaves the taste of bad news / a chip as big as the sky / no nothing is true / medicine & glue / flypaper words keep'em tidy keep'em cool / so grip the grips and waste the time / and carve your name into your mind / into your mind / Mainline injected fear let me make it clear / get in to close / and your sure to disappear / thrash and claw and scream inside / and carve your name into your mind / into mind / nothing much you can do / when nothing is true." The second set of lyrics: "My Texas butterfly / came to me last night / on a wind of ugly faces / flit your wings my way / it was a long way she said / so keep me warm / let me sleep to the TVs drone / I'm so far from home / can I offer you a vision / with your tea / or something else for free / I know flesh does not impress you / Flit your wings my way / my Texas butterfly / ride a Gulf Stream wind / with sunlight in your eyes / you dance so delicate / I see you in my mind / greedy hands upon you / and you only want to fly / you know my face / you kow my name / black & blue I'm just the same / today you are where you should be / carry on you're almost home / with me / with me / watch the earth run underneath / glide above the sky / the stillness has its weight / you'll find out when you try / you can't be sure of anything / everythings a lie / sincerity's a demon / and lethal like a lie / the voice of reason fades away / you'll find out when you try / with me [4x] / copper & gold / on ships of old / aren't worth the price / of a solid soul / that lives in a girl / with an angels face / and saves herself for / a sacred place / with me… [6x]." Also includes an itinerary calendar for a Ramones tour of Germany in December 1993, bearing various pencil and blue ballpoint notations. In fine condition, with expected wear.
