Description

Three items: a 5.25 x 8.25 printed photo of the original logo design for Apple Computer Co., signed in the lower right in black ink, “Ronald G. Wayne,” over his embossed personal seal; a color glossy 10 x 8 photo of Wayne posing outdoors with crossed arms, signed in the lower right in black ink, “Ronald G. Wayne,” over his embossed personal seal; and a TLS, one page, 8.5 x 11, personal letterhead with embossed personal seal, April 6, 2018, in part: "Back in April of 1976, I was only with Apple for the first twelve days, doing my best to help the 'kids' in their wonderful new enterprise. At the time, they were only in their twenties, while I was in my forties. But it truly was a delight to actually be a part of a turning point in history—except at the time, of course, we certainly didn't realize that it was. It was then just another thrilling series of adventures in the ordinary course of our lives. Then too, at that time, Mr. Jobs and Mr. Wozniak were truly whirlwinds. It was like having a tiger by the tail. Yet even so, we none of us had any idea that it would ever grow into the industry-dominating enterprise that it is today. But grow it did, thanks to the astonishing creativity of Steve Wozniak, and the skill and drive of Steve Jobs—who had a talent for moving people and ideas around, like pieces on a chess board. All in all, it was a marvelous, once in a life-time experience." In overall very fine condition. Accompanied by the original malling envelope, and Wayne's personal business card, which he has signed in black ink, “Ronald G. Wayne." Wayne received a 10% stake in Apple as one of the company’s three founding partners, but he relinquished his equity only two weeks later for the sum of $800.
