Description

French chemist and politician (1737-1816) credited with producing the first systematic method of chemical nomenclature. Partly-printed DS, in French, signed “Guyton-Morveau,” one page, 7 x 9, August 5, 1812. Official Legion of Honor receipt for the sum of 490 francs. In very good to fine condition, with scattered light foxing, and a trimmed right edge.
