Extremely rare Union Bank of London check, 7 x 3.25, filled out and signed by Darwin, "Ch. Darwin," payable to Mr. Nicholls for £34.10.0, December 30, 1878. In very good to fine condition, with a bit of paper loss to each corner, some light toning, and old mounting remnants to reverse side edges. A tremendously scarce and sought-after format, this is the first Darwin check we have ever offered.
