Very desirable 10K gold football charm presented to Harvard University football coach John Yovicsin in honor of the 1961 Harvard Crimson and Yale Bulldogs football rivalry game. Made by the JMF Co., the charm measures approximately 1″ in length and features faint engraved text to each panel denoting the year, “1961,” the recipient, “J. M. Yovicsin, Coach,” the score, “H-27 Y-0,” and indicating Harvard as “Ivy Champions.” Also included is a gold-filled Ivy League Championship disc charm, .75″ in diameter, made by Koch Co., with one side featuring a red enamel “H” over leaf with raised text, “Ivy League Championship,” and opposite side engraved with the recipient’s name: “Football, J. M. Yovicsin, Coach, 1961.” In fine condition, with aforementioned fading to engravings.
