Description

Prominent and controversial French novelist, playwright, poet, essayist, and political activist (1910-1986). ALS in French, signed “Genet,” one page, 8.25 x 10.5, no date. Untranslated letter in which Genet informs that he is in Venice working on a script for a film project called 'Concession Perpetuelle.' He states that he doesn't have any time for publicity work and wishes that his friend do it for him, then adds that he staying at the Hotel Metropole. In fine condition.
