Description

Five appealing small enameled items made by Halcyon Days in Bilston, England: a limited edition cylindrical pill box commemorating the 400th anniversary of Othello, measuring 1.75″ in diameter and 1.75″ tall, numbered 33/100; a limited edition oval trinket box depicting John Everett Millais's painting 'Ophelia,' measuring 2.75″ x 2″ x 1″, numbered 174/350; a 2″ diameter paperweight featuring an enamel plaque with a portrait of Shakespeare by Philip Sutton, set into a gold-plated brass base; a limited edition cylindrical pill box commemorating the 400th anniversary of Macbeth, measuring 1.75″ in diameter and 1.75″ tall, numbered 40/150; and a beaker honoring Shakespeare's numerous plays, measuring 2.25″ in diameter and 3.25″ tall, depicting characters from the likes of King Lear, Romeo and Juliet, Twelfth Night, and others on the sides. In overall fine condition. Accompanied by all original boxes (the hinge of the paperweight's box makes the top rather cockeyed) and Halcyon Days paperwork.
