As you know, Korea's unification as an independent democracy is the major purpose of my life. I cherish America's strong support because the ideals for which the United States stands are the inspiration of freedom-loving peoples everywhere. Your cartoons are a most valuable feature of the New York Daily News. They play an important part in the thinking of millions of New Yorkers and others."
