Sizable segment of a Kapton foil thermal blanket from the Apollo 16 lunar module Orion, measuring approximately 5.5 x 5, with inserted central plug; a piece of the segment detached but present. Includes a copy of two Grumman Aircraft parts tags, dated October 25, 1971, with part number, “LDW280-56897-7,” and noting: “Removed LM 11-41 Per DR 203.” In fine condition.
