I am sorry that a slight indisposition deprived him of spending the whole day with you in your lovely company. Please allow me, Miss, to express to you with 'high voice' before you leave all my gratitude. I hope that I will have the pleasure to see you today. I have the honor to remain with esteem." In fine condition, with light wrinkling to the top from an old mounting remnant on the reverse.
