Original vintage color glossy 5 x 5 photo of the reaction to the assassination of John F. Kennedy in Dallas's Dealey Plaza on November 22, 1963, taken by official White House photographer Cecil W. Stoughton. The image shows Bill and Gayle Newman at left, laying in the grass and covering their children; cameramen, including White House motion picture photographer Lt. Thomas M. Atkins, are seen at right. Reverse bears "A Kodak Paper" watermarks and a pencil notation, "C[420]-22-63." In very fine condition.
