Exceptional 14K white gold 2007 Boston Red Sox World Series Championship ring made by Jostens, approximately size 11 to 11.25 and 66.5 gm, featuring the Red Sox logo created from red stones on face, set against a background of genuine diamonds. This is an "A"-style ring, with the same size and mold used for rings issued to the Red Sox players. The bezel reads, “World Champions,” and the perimeter is encircled by diamonds; in all, the ring features a total diamond weight calculating to 2.33 carats. One shank features the recipient’s surname, “Cummings,” with a Red Sox logo and World Series trophy, as well as “Red Sox, 2007” at the bottom. The other shank depicts Fenway Park, with ornate text, “7th World Series Championship, 4-0 Sweep.” The inner band is etched, “Jostens 14K” and “Boston Red Sox, 10-28-07.” Includes the original wooden presentation box, which has the 2007 World Series logo on the front; the glass in the box top has been replaced and lacks the original frosted lettering. In fine condition, with some tiny dings to the lettering in the recipient’s name, and slight lifting to edges of the dark blue background on the face. Three short years after reversing the 'Curse of the Bambino,' the Boston Red Sox returned to the World Series and easily swept the Colorado Rockies in four games. This massive, impressive World Series ring commemorating the historic victory is of the utmost desirability.
