Fantastic set of five original sketches by George Wildman of the five main characters of the Popeye comic strip, each accomplished in ink on white 3 x 5 cards, with Wildman signing and dating below each sketch, and adding a speech bubble to each character, including: Popeye (‘I yam what I yam!!’), Olive Oyl (‘Wow!’), Bluto (‘Grrrr!!!’), Swee'Pea (‘Jus call me angel!’), and Wimpy (‘Yummy!!’). In overall very fine condition.
