Pair of two invitations for an after show party at the Café de Paris following a Lovesexy Tour concert at London’s Wembley Arena on July 25, 1988. The front of each invitation shows Prince wearing a blue-and-black suit and peering through a guitar below the text, “Prince, Lovesexy ’88,” and the inside features relevant party details. The two folded invitations, each measuring 4 x 8.25 closed, issued as “358” and “485,” are individually marked for “Gail Ann Dorsey (and) Guest” and “Nick Laird Clowes (and) Guest"; Nick Laird-Clowes is the vocalist for The Dream Academy, and Gail Ann Dorsey is the bassist for David Bowie. In overall fine condition. The venue for the after show party was later changed from the Café de Paris to London's Camden Palace. The consignor notes that he personally obtained these from Alan Leeds, Prince's longtime tour manager.
