American film actress (1914-1984) who was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Stage Door. She retired from acting following her marriage in 1939, and was later a successful horse breeder. Vintage glossy 7.25 x 10 United Artists publicity photo of Leeds for the 1939 film The Real Glory, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, "To Warren, Good wishes, Andrea Leeds.” In fine condition, with possibly trimmed borders.
