TLS, one page, 5.5 x 8.5, personal letterhead, June 13, 1959. Letter to "Anthony," in part: "Enclosed you will find $5. I was extremely pleased to get the plague [sic]. Unfortunately, it was busted. It had been creamed en route. And also, of course, thank you very much for your very kind letter." Newman adds a handwritten note concerning the broken plaque, "But I glued it." In fine condition, with a PSA/DNA label affixed to the lower right. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from PSA/DNA.
