(Walt Disney Studios, 1946) Highly unusual original hand-painted original advertising artwork prepared by the Disney studio for Song of the South toys to be released for Christmas 1946. The artwork portrays Donald Duck wearing a Santa hat as he paints a Br'er Bear doll, and also depicts a Br'er Rabbit pull-toy, Br'er Fox jack-in-the-box, and a Bobby Driscoll/Luana Patten music box. An annotation to the upper right indicates a release date of December 22nd. Accomplished in gouache on an 11 x 14.75 board, with an overlaid cel bearing affixed photographs of the two child actors.
