DS, one page, 8.5 x 11, February 10, 1941. Interesting Loew's Incorporated document, in part: "We understand that in connection with the story of the photoplay entitled 'Lady Be Good,' the song 'Lady Be Good' written by George and Ira Gershwin will be shown as having been written by two characters in said photoplay, tentatively named to-wit: 'Eddie Crane' and 'Dixie Donegan' who are shown as songwriters. We understand that upon a credit card at the commencement of the photoplay, proper authorship credit to George and Ira Gershwin will be given." Signed twice at the conclusion in fountain pen by Ira Gershwin to confirm that he has no objection: once for himself, and once on behalf of the George Gershwin's estate. In fine condition, with a diagonal crease across the upper blank area and light show-through from an ink stamp to the reverse.
