Michael Jackson’s stage-worn black wool fedora by the Golden Gate Hat Company, marked on the inner sweatband with gold text, “Michael Jackson.” A small golden tag reads, “WPL 5923.” Affixed inside the hat is a crew member’s cloth backstage pass for his show at Wembley Stadium in London on July 16, 1988. In fine condition, with signs of wear to the sweatband. The consignor notes that the hat was thrown from the stage during Jackson's concert, which was part of the Bad international tour. A trademark element of Jackson's stage style, he commonly wore hats by the Golden Gate Hat Company. A fantastic concert-worn piece from the legendary entertainer.
