Unsigned handwritten poem by T. Rex frontman Marc Bolan, one page, 8 x 10, no date. The untitled poem, written in black ballpoint, reads in full (grammar and spelling retained): "altho it stands like a widow to the world. the birds husband, and appears to our crimanal sight a heartless ornament cold as a twilight. the birds know its moods. For the statue is more than it seems." The poem was later printed in the "16th Anniversary Edition" of the RARN 48 fanzine from 1993, which is included with the poem. In fine condition, with trivial light spotting. Given Bolan's death at the age of 29, autographic material from the glam rock pioneer remains scarce and highly sought-after.
