Full free frank, measuring 9.75 x 7.75 unfolded with a center panel of 5.25 x 3.25, addressed by Madison to "General Is. Breckinridge, Richmond," and franked, "Free, James Madison." Dated in the upper left by an unknown hand, "Orange CH., 25 Jany 182[6]." In very good to fine condition, with some creasing and toning. Accompanied by an engraving of Madison bearing a preprinted signature.
