Animator (1883-1972) considered a pioneer in the development of the animated cartoon, whose Fleischer Studios brought such animated characters as Koko the Clown, Betty Boop, Popeye, and Superman to the movie screen. Vintage circa 1933 Fleischer Studios postcard depicting Betty Boop and Gus Gorilla, 3.75 x 6.25, signed in the lower left in fountain pen by Fleischer. Reverse is postmarked New York, 1933. In very good to fine condition, with some light toning and creasing, and Fleischer's signature faded but legible.
